The Great Wall of China

We went to two different parts of the wall. I would definitely suggest to get a guide with a driver, if you are staying in Beijing. The wall is about 1 1/2 hour drive away on highway and curvy roads. There are different parts of the wall and I would suggest to not just stop at the touristy packed one. The first one we went up on a chair lift and back down on a super awesome fun slide!

Up on the chair lift, about 10 minute ride

On the left you can see part of the slide

part of the slide we went back down! Fun and totally safe!

on top of the wall

You have to hike a bit to really see more of the wall. Do not just go up take a pic and turn back around. The view keeps getting prettier and prettier, especially with the fall colours starting

Annie and I. Getting a guide for this is so helpful. Her English was really good and she was super nice!

it just keeps getting prettier and prettier...

Of course we had to take advantage of the amazing scenery...

sooo kaputt after hiking the wall!
... and off to the slide! YEAH!

The other part of the wall we stopped. Totally different, with a lake and colorul towers and even a temple.

By the end o the day we had Annie inspired to do yoga and jumps as well! lol
